The states of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana have formed a new regional chapter of ITSA,

the Gulf Region Intelligent Transportation Society. Its first annual meeting is being held this

Our overall purposes:

Promote a public/private partnership to make the transportation system safer, more efficient, and environmentally sound
Foster development and deployment of ITS technology and logistics
Promote Intermodalism as the foundation of a “seamless” transportation system
Inform the general public about the benefits of ITS technologies
